Purpose=Why not?

Lights Camera Caption is dedicated to reporting the latest news and gossip from people who are larger than life, while completely making up our own version of the truth as well.  What?  You don’t see this concept as honest?  We at Lights Camera Caption might agree with you if we didn’t enjoy writing fake captions so much.  Maybe it’s not a worthy cause, and maybe we should be dedicating our time to saving some whales, but who gets the chance refer to themselves as ‘we’ and make up sarcastic, often absurd, and occasionally funny anecdotes about people?

We respond officially with this: While it may not be all true, it certainly is how it should have been.  However, it is your own responsibility to decide what is the truth.  Ours is just to make fun of people.
